What to Expect When Beginning Therapy
Our work together begins with understanding your goals and the experiences that have shaped you. Therapy isn't about rushing toward solutions—it's about building enough understanding so that change becomes meaningful and sustainable.
Some sessions may focus on exploring past experiences, while others may focus on navigating current challenges, strengthening relationships, or developing new ways of responding to stress. Throughout the process, we'll move at a pace that feels supportive to you.
My work is grounded in trauma-informed, relational therapy and informed by Narrative Therapy, EMDR, and other evidence-based approaches. Rather than relying on one method, I tailor therapy to each person's unique experiences and goals.

Out of Network Benefits
If I am not in-network with your insurance plan, you may still be able to use your out-of-network mental health benefits.
I can provide a monthly superbill that you can submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. Because every plan is different, I recommend contacting your insurance provider to learn more about your specific out-of-network benefits before beginning therapy.

Questions?
Choosing a therapist involves practical considerations as well as finding someone who feels like the right fit. If you have questions about fees, insurance, or getting started, I'm happy to discuss them during a complimentary 15-minute consultation.
